THE Y FOR
We focus our work in three key areas, because nurturing the potential of kids, helping people live healthier, and supporting our neighbors are fundamental to strengthening communities.
HELP GROW THE DREAM
The Dreamcatcher Campaign (also known as Annual Giving), has now officially begun, and the Adventure Clubs Department is offering a unique opportunity to everyone - a way to earn money toward the Dreamcatcher Campaign - while we spread holiday cheer!
Orders are due Monday, November 25, 2013.
|The beautiful Ecke Poinsettias are pre-sold by parents and children in the Adventure Clubs for $12 (of which $6 goes to support the campaign). |
Red and white poinsettias will be available this year and will come with foiled pots. New to this year's poinsettia drive, Adventure Clubs participants have the opportunity to purchase and donate a plant to a military family.
Pickup hours: On Monday, December 2 & Tuesday, December 3 from 7:00-11:00 am or 3:00-7:00 pm, families will be able to pick up their plants at the YMCA in the back of the north parking lot.

“I guarantee that if you take one
lap around the neighborhood and also hit up those “go-to” people like
grandparents and co-workers, you and your son or daughter will quickly
get enough orders to make a nice contribution to the YMCA with very
little effort. The best part is watching your kid learn how to look
people in the eye, say why they’re selling poinsettias, and ask for the
order. But delivering them is the most fun of all!”
