Scripps Health Partners with the YMCA
We have joined forces with Scripps Health to promote health and wellness throughout San Diego County!Several of our branches and locations will serve as hosts to a variety of Scripps events and activities during the year. These will include ongoing health and wellness education, on-site screenings and physician lectures.
You’ll see Scripps educational information at all of our branches and on our websites. You’ll also be invited to a Scripps lectures series at our La Jolla, South Bay, Mission Valley and Magdalena Ecke YMCAs, all focusing on health and wellness and led by the very best Scripps Physicians and Specialists.
With the rise of chronic illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease and the obesity epidemic, the importance of health education and wellness efforts becomes more critical for our community. Our partnership gives allows both Scripps and our association the opportunity to expand critical wellness efforts in San Diego County.
