Are you getting the children ready for Kindergarten?
Yes, through a play based atmosphere.
How long is rest time?
As a licensed facility, we are required to provide a rest time for children in our full day program. During this time children lay quietly on their cots. The rest schedule is as follows.

2½ to 3 year olds rest from12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- 4 year olds rest from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Pre-K+ rest from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Do you provide snack?
Yes, we provide a morning snack as well as an afternoon snack. Snack is consists of two healthy food groups and milk or juice, and is served family style. Family style means the children participate by setting the table, sitting as a group and serving themselves.
How do I register my child?
There are two ways to register your child at the preschool; at open enrollment or when there is an open spot. You will register in the preschool office by appointment. To register, you will be required to fill out an Admission’s Agreement Form, Automatic Tuition Draft form (please bring a voided check or credit card), and pay the required $50.00 non-refundable registration fee & $50.00 non-refundable deposit. Following registration, you will be required to fill out an enrollment packet with specific information about your child.
How do I get my child on the wait-list?
Our wait-list is kept for the current school year only. The wait-list for the 2006 - 2007 school year is closed. You can place your child's name on our 2007-2008 school year wait-list by contacting us with your child's name, date of birth, address, phone number, e-mail, and program/hours/days you are hoping for. If a spot becomes available you will be contacted immediately and given 72 hours to reply. If you do not respond within 72 hours, your child's name will be taken off the list.
What are your staff requirements?
Prior to employment all staff must attend a Child Abuse Safety Training, receive a Health Screening, and be Fingerprinted. Additionally Teachers have completed 12 units of Early Childhood Education.
How is security maintained?
At the YMCA safety is our #1 concern. Our facility remains securely locked 24 hours a day. Parents receive an electronic security card to enter the preschool. Additionally, all authorized pick up persons must show identification matching authorized pick up list for the child.
