All teens must have a current YMCA Medical Release Form on file to register and enter the teen dance.
A $5 late charge for teens who sign up after 4:00 pm on the day of the dance. The cost for the dance after 4:00 pm on the day of the dance will be $15.00. The teen dance begins at 7:00 pm and continues until 10:00 pm.
Teens may not leave the dance before 9:30 pm unless a parent is present for pick-up. There are no ins and outs during the event. Dismissal from the dance will begin at 9:30 pm.
No bags or purses are permitted in the dance. We will have a very small bag check for those who bring bags or purses. The dance is chaperoned by adults and YMCA staff. For the safety of the teens, the teen dance will be strictly enforced. Parents please review the rules with your teen. These rules are intended to create a safe, healthy, and fun environment for all participants.
YMCA Teen Night Rules:
Attending YMCA Teen Night is a privilege and is the responsibility of all to abide by the rules and regulations.
1. Dress code. Not allowed: bare midriffs, tube tops, visible underwear, and skirts shorter than the length of your fingertips.
2. No inappropriate physical contact
3. No running or other horseplay, which could result in injury, will be allowed.
4. No inappropriate displays of affection- the appropriateness of such public displays will be left to the discretion of the chaperones.
5. No gum or outside food.
When a rule is broken any of the following could occur:
• Parents will be called
• An incident report will be completed and filed
• The individual will be asked to leave after parent is contacted.
• The individual will not be permitted to return to any future teen nights.
Parents please make arrangements to pick up your child promptly after the Teen Night. Please be advised that the YMCA cannot supervise your child once they have been dismissed from Teen Night. It is the responsibility of the parent to make arrangements for their child upon the dismissal of the Teen night program.
