Members may take advantage of our full-service facility seven days a week. You must carry your Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA I. D. card at all times while using the facility. Children under 13 years must be accompanied by an adult and are not issued membership I.D. cards. Financial assistance is available.

    Joining Fee  
   

All adult, family and senior memberships pay an initial joining fee. There is no joining fee for youth memberships. Memberships that have expired or been cancelled for more than 30 days are subject to paying the joining fee to reinstate or renew a membership.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All Magdalena Ecke YMCA members & participants must have a completed Adult Information & Waiver Form on file before participating in our programs and events. Download a copy here, pick one up at the YMCA or call (760) 635-3050 to have one mailed to you.
       
   

"Easy Pay" Membership Payment

  
   

Members may pay with an “easy pay” monthly plan through the automatic transfer system (ATS); or pay in full for an annual membership (12 months). With your authorization, the ATS process option will automatically deduct your monthly membership dues from your credit card, checking or savings account.

Cancellations and all changes to your membership must
be received at least 10 days prior to your bank draft day. There is a $20 service fee on returned checks, non-sufficient funds and all items returned unpaid by bank.

    Guest Policy  
   
We encourage members to introduce friends and family to our YMCA. First-time visitors are given a complimentary guest pass after a tour of the facility. Future visits are discounted when accompanied by members at half the day use rate. See Day Passes.

Cancellations must be received 10 days prior to membership draft date. A $20 service fee will be applied for all accounts returned unpaid, closed, payment stopped, declined or any changes not received in written notification 10 days prior to your draft date. There are no refunds. The alternative payment plan is an Annual Membership.

    Holds and Dormant Memberships  
   
"Holding" a membership for travel or illness must be approved through the Membership Coordinator. Holds are considered on a case-by-case basis and must be accompanied by medical or travel documentation. There is a maximum number of months allowable for "holds or dormants."
       
    Facility Entrance  
   
Members must carry their current YMCA photo I.D. card at all times. Children under the age of 13 years must be accompanied by an adult when not involved in YMCA programs.
       
    Locker Rooms  
   
Children under the age of 13 must use the youth locker rooms. Children 6 years and younger must be supervised by an adult.
       
    Family Swim  
   
Children who cannot stand comfortably on the pool bottom must be accompanied by an adult in the water.
       
    Strength & Fitness Center  
   
For adults only. Young adults, ages 13-20 years, must complete the teen orientation before accessing the adult fitness facility.
       
    Insurance  
   
The cost of health and accident insurance is not included in membership and program fees.
       
    Lost & Found  
   
The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen articles on our premises.

YMCA Membership Plus means that when you join one YMCA in San Diego county — you join them all! If you live in one area of the county and work in another, then this is the membership for you and your family! Financial Assistance

Our Financial Assistance program provides opportunities for financially disadvantaged kids and families to enjoy the member services and programs offered at our YMCA. Financial Assistance is made available to those who qualify through generous donations from participants, members and community residents.

Confidential applications are available at the Registration Desk during regular business hours.
