Dance Performances

 
   

Students enrolled in Fall & Spring session classes will participate in an end-of- session performance. There will be a Holiday Showcase and a Spring Recital. There is a costume fee included in the registration fee. This is a nominal fee and students keep the costume.

Dance Studio Rules

  • Please follow the dress code.
  • Use the restroom prior to class.
  • Only water allowed in the studio.
  • Do not wear street shoes on the wood floor.
  • NO REDUCED RATES FOR SICKNESS OR VACATIONS.

Dance Hair & Dress Codes

  • No jewelry or tutus, please.
  • Please mark clothing and shoes with dancer’s name.
  • Be sure elastics are sewn into ballet slippers. Hair must be secured up and off face.


BALLET

  • Pink, black or white leotard, ballet tights and pink ballet shoes (skirt optional).


TAP

  • Tap shoes are required. Leather soles with screw in tap are highly recommended (black shoes).


BALLET & TAP

  • Pink, black or white leotard, ballet tights and an optional separate skirt. Ballet shoes and tap shoes for
    the ballet/tap combo class only.

JAZZ

  • Jazz pants, jazz shoes, biker shorts, leggings, etc., with a leotard, tank top or a t-shirt. Hair is worn pulled
    back.

HIP-HOP

  • Loose comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. No jeans allowed. Must wear tennis shoes in class.


ADULT CLASSES:

  • Wear regular workout clothes and appropriate shoes, if needed.


CREATIVE KIDS:

  • Comfortable clothing.
