Dance Studio Rules

Please follow the dress code. Use the rest room prior to class. Only water allowed in the studio. Do not wear street shoes on dance floor. Tap shoes ONLY allowed in studio, not on lobby tile floors. NO parents/guardians are allowed in the studio during class time. (Exceptions: Parent Watch Week* and the last 10 minutes of the last class of each month.) NO REDUCED RATES FOR SICKNESS OR VACATIONS. Dance Family Recital Agreement must be signed for spring session.

Dance Hair & Dress Codes

No jewelry or tutus, please. Please mark clothing and shoes with dancer’s name. Be sure elastics are sewn into ballet slippers.
Hair must be secured up and off face.

Boys
Black bottoms, pants or shorts, a white T-shirt and appropriate shoes for the specific style. See below.

BALLET
Pink, black or white leotard, ballet tights and pink ballet shoes (skirt optional).

TAP
Black tap shoes are required. Leather soles with screw in taps are highly recommended. Please do not wear tap shoes on lobby tile floor.

BALLET & TAP
See ballet and tap description. Ballet and tap shoes required.

JAZZ
Jazz pants or biker shorts and jazz shoes, with a leotard, tank top or a T-shirt.

HIP-HOP/Tumble
Same as Jazz dress code with black jazz shoes.

Creative Dance
Same as Ballet dress code.

Creative Kids
Comfortable play clothes

Jazz/Hip-Hop
Same as Jazz dress code.

HIP-HOP
Loose comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. No jeans allowed. Must wear black jazz shoes or dance sneakers

Adult Dance Classes | Teen Ballroom
Wear regular workout clothes and appropriate shoes, if needed.
