Adult Arena Soccer

 

  
   

This program is offered to participants 18 years of age and older. The divisions offered include Men’s, Women’s and Coed. All soccer games are played at the YMCA in the soccer arenas on turf. Play is 5-on-5 with a goalie. This is a 10-week program, which includes 9 weeks of game play and 1 playoff game. This league is recreational in nature and includes playoffs for teams that qualify. All interested participants should form their own teams.


Registration packets may be picked up at the Registration Desk or click here. Once your team is formed, please turn in your registration form and the required $50 nonrefundable deposit to secure a spot.

Team registration fees include playoff games for qualifying teams, t-shirts for champions and league administration. The remaining team fee is due by the second game played during the season.

A minimum of four teams in each division is needed or teams will be combined with another division. In the event that teams cannot be combined, the division will be cancelled and refunds will be issued by the Sports Director.

Rules

All leagues will use YMCA Arena Soccer rules. There will be NO body checking or offsides. Three line passes will be called and play is 5-on-5 with a goalie. Games will consist of two, 24-minute halves. Rosters will not exceed 15 players. Each player must wear shin guards and all-purpose sport, artificial turf shoes or outdoor cleats. A minimum of 4 teams is required in each division or that division will be canceled. The YMCA reserves the right to move players and/or teams to different divisions depending on skill level. Our goal is to create parity in each division. If your team is significantly superior than other teams in your division, your team will be moved to the next higher division.

Players that are interested need to bring their own soccer gear to play. No gear will be provided by the YMCA. Cleats, turf shoes and tennis shoes are allowed on the turf field. Shinguards are required for safety purposes.
