Welcome to the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA, your North County Coastal partner in health and wellness. For over 50 years, our YMCA has been serving the communities of Encinitas, Carlsbad, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Carmel Valley and Rancho Santa Fe with quality fitness facilities that include: eight fitness areas, two pools, basketball courts, soccer arenas and over 180 free fitness classes.
The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA is more than just a gym. We pride ourselves in providing the San Diego community with the best childcare options in the County. From preschool to camps, to after-school care and teen programs, nurturing and enriching the youth in our community is at the heart of our mission.
Nestled on a 20 acre plot of ocean view property, the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA also provides access to America’s finest Skate Park. With one of the largest YMCA facilities in the nation, we offer programs for infants to seniors. Exciting trips and events engage our Active Adults, while our Academy of Performing Arts and Gymnastics programs teach and grow each of their students.
If youth sports are your thing, then our YMCA is the place to be. With multiple sports programs for youth and adults that place an emphasis on fun and fair play, the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA is the #1 sports coordinator in North County. And if you are looking to spend quality one-on-one time with your child, our Adventure Clubs program is the perfect outdoor experience for you and your son or daughter.
